Fiber laser marking machines are used in conjunction with a rotator (or rotating axis) and are ideal for processing cylindrical or rotationally symmetrical arc-shaped metal workpieces. Such workpieces include common circular pipes, annular parts (such as bearings, rings), cylindrical containers, shaft parts, pen holders, etc.
In this application, the workpiece is precisely fixed on a rotating fixture and controlled by the rotator to rotate around its own axis in a stable and controllable manner. The marking software "unfolds" or maps the designed marking content onto the circumferential surface of the workpiece. During the marking process, the laser head usually only needs to scan a straight line or a small area, and through precise synchronization with the rotation of the workpiece, the complete pattern or text can be continuously and evenly marked on the entire arc surface.
